Anet company announces Cache
Watcher utility that indexes "on the
fly" all downloaded html files and enables user to do full
text search among files stored in the cache.
Cache Watcher is
made as HTTP server and it's search page is put into Bookmark
(Favorites) list. User can retrieve and view found page and
follow links without leaving browser.
At the same time Cache
Watcher operates as an agent and brings news
files from www server. When user calls the search page from
"Bookmarks" ("Favorites") it may contain news
in a bottom frame of the search page.
Cache Watcher is
based on unique text retrieval technology from Anet which is
distinguished by very high indexing speed and automatic index
update on the fly. It watches for file system and recreates index
immediately as the file system is changed. The same search engine
was also used in an award winning product Search32.
